About Us
Hearts and Hoofprints - The Les David Foundation, is a registered Canadian charity that operates out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hearts and Hoofprints was founded by Melissa & Raymond David in memory of their late father. Les loved horses and helping youth and his years running a youth riding academy was where he was the happiest.
Our Mission
Hearts and Hoofprints' mission is to assist youth from low income families with mental health challenges by providing equine therapy. Equine therapy offers relief from mental health problems by spending time riding and communicating with horses. This type of therapy is great for people suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, and ADHD.
